Our staff is committed to meeting your needs. In addition to those listed below, there are a number of lay volunteers who are essential to Eastern's ministry and operation.

Senior Pastor ED Michael:

Pastor Ed was studying Mechanical Engineering at Penn State University York Campus when he was invited by a friend to an Assembly of God church. At that service he received Christ as his Savior, and with the help of a Christian friend, started a Christian Fellowship Club on his college campus. Over the next year as he worked to win students to Christ, the Lord placed a call upon his life for full time service. Pastor Ed transferred to Faith School of Theology in Maine and went on to North Central University in Minneapolis for his degree. He pastored churches in Michigan and Baltimore City before coming to Eastern Assembly in 2003. He has a heart to see people come to Christ and the outreach ministries of our church are a reflection of his outward focus.

He was married for 23 years to Rhonda; she was our beloved youth pastor until she went home to be with her Lord in early 2009. Pastor Ed has two adult children: a son Jared and a daughter Alyssa. He enjoys sports, the outdoors, and his newest venture: a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Youth Pastor Bobby Bledsoe:

Rev. Bobby Bledsoe is the Student Ministries Pastor of (Crossfireyouthministries.org) at Eastern Assembly of God. Pastor Bobby was born in New Jersey, lived in Philadelphia, New York, and Florida. At the age of 25 Bobby was radically saved from a lifestyle of drugs and street life. After his salvation he felt an immediate call into ministry. He enrolled and was excepted at Faith School of Theology, where he graduated with a ministerial major. After graduating college he was led to Baltimore, where he currently serves as youth pastor, and has been licensed with the Assemblies of God to preach the Gospel.

He is happily married to his beautiful wife Jade, and has two children Gabriel, and Selah. Pastor Bobby's passion is to reach this generation at any cost, and to teach students the importance of a lifestyle of Worship. Pastor Bobby's life scripture is "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound" Isaiah 61:1

Worship Director Wayne Chisholm Jr.:

Wayne has been our Worship and Technology director since 2004. Since the age of 16, Wayne has been leading people into worship. Wayne attended Southeastern College in Lakeland Florida. He also has played in different groups such as "Know Surrender" and the "Jim Akers Band." While he strives for musical excellence, his passion is to lead people into the presence of God. "Music must be secondary, Worship is the priority."

Wayne and his wife Rebecca have three beautiful Children.

Children's Church Leader Kristen Alt:

Kristen Alt is our Children’s Minister and has been since January 2005. Kristen graduated from Patapsco High School in 2001. She went on to attend Brownsville Revival School of Ministry in Florida and worked within their children’s ministry. Kristen graduated in 2004 with an Associate of Arts in Christian Ministry. While working full time in Baltimore, Kristen continued to pour her energy into children’s ministry, youth, and worship; leading children’s plays, children church, VBS, being part of various worship teams, and leading a high school small group. Kristen realized her desire to reach not only children within the church but also within the public schools.

In December of 2009 Kristen will graduate with a Bachelors in Elementary Education from Towson University
(we are very excited). Kristen’s interests include sports, her niece, Gracie Rae and anything not involving homework.

Administrative Secretary Debbie Alt:

Debbie Alt is our administrative secretary. Her job description includes everything from accountant to head of the nursery. Debbie has worked in administration and accounting for over 20 years.

She has been married to her husband Andy for 30 years. They have two adult daughters, Shayna and Kristen and a son-in-law CJ. Debbie recently became a grandmother to Gracie Rae and is loving it. Her interests include cooking for and being with her family (especially Gracie) and the WM's Ministry.
